Welcome to Above and Beyond – the 7^th and 8^th TELC (Technology Enhanced Learning Community) team.  This program was designed to provide a positive learning environment for highly motivated students who are ready to be challenged. 

A goal of Above and Beyond to assist the students in building a strong foundation for their future academic successes.  One way we (Mrs. Miller and myself)  strive to accomplish that goal is through the high expectations placed upon the students.  This is a rigorous program and one in which the students are encouraged to stretch their minds and raise their own standards.   Bob Meyers of the Dryden Flight Research Center stated at a presentation here at Flagstaff Middle School,

 

“Your altitude in life is determined by your attitude.  Aim high!”

 

This is what we are encouraging the students to do in the Above and Beyond Program – aim high!
